Location & Operations

1. Setting: 98,000 acres of remote wilderness overlooking the Mara River.
2. Season: Closed annually from January 15 to May 31.
3. Power & Sustainability: 100% off-the-grid, running on a custom solar system with LED lighting and natural cross-breezes instead of air conditioning.

Accommodations

1. Tents: 6 light-filled canvas suites (4 1-bedroom en-suite tents and 2 family tents consisting of two rooms connected by a covered walkway).
2. Capacity: Maximum of 16 guests; children are welcome from 10 years of age.
3. Design & Features: Afro-Bohemian and Maasai geometric styling with saturated earth tones, locally made furniture, private viewing decks, en-suite indoor/outdoor showers, and rustic outdoor bathtubs.

Facilities & Dining

1. Common Areas: Main lodge area, pool sala with a swimming pool, central fire pit, and a self-service signature bar-deli.
2. Cuisine: Locally sourced, seasonal East African-inspired meals, tapas, and mezze boards.
3. Connectivity: Complimentary slow/intermittent Wi-Fi (no televisions in suites).

Activities & Wildlife

1. Game Drives: Twice-daily drives in Land Rovers (limited to 6 guests per vehicle).
2. Great Migration: Prime positioning for witnessing dramatic wildebeest and zebra river crossings, typically peaking from July through October.
